I had a message from a friend on Friday night asking if I wanted to go to a 6am Boot camp with her on Saturday morning. I figured why not!
6am Boot camp meant that I needed to get up at 5am to get there as it was way down south and would take about 30mins to drive there.
Sooo, it seems that not even the sun is up at 5am!
It was a good session however it was mainly boxing which I usually enjoy but I don't always feel its a full work out, I did however burn about 450 Calories.
Since it was my first session it was free. I said to my friend that I wouldn't be able to make it a regular thing as I'm already committed to 2x PT sessions, 2x Netball Games plus a member of a Gym already and these all add up pretty quickly!
This morning we also had an early morning start, this time it was something we have had planned for some time and finally got around to doing it. An early morning beach run down the coast followed by breaky.
We got to the coast probably just before 7 and I couldn't believe how many people were already out and about. We didn't really run much along the beach, after Boot camp yesterday morning we were a tad sore in the legs and walking along the sand seemed to work the legs a bit.
What I had for breakfast
"Best of Both" - Fruit Salad with Greek Yoghurt and Poached Eggs with Sour Dough
So this weekend has been a pretty active weekend. I'm currently waiting to head to the gym with a friend who is heading back from Byron. Hoping to get some cardio and weight training in.
I love having friends that want to get healthy and fit and having someone to train/workout with.. Makes it that much more fun!
I'm then heading out early this arvo for a catch up with a group of girlfriends, looking forward to seeing them!!

Good on you for getting up so early both days! Wish I had that willpower!
ReplyDeleteGood on you for sticking at it! I hate eggs - no idea how people can eat those things whole!
